antitrusitalia is delighted to invite you to its event which will be held at the DG Comp auditorium, in the Madou building, on Wednesday, 29 March 2023, starting from 12h30 to 14h00.
antitrustitalia will have the honor of welcoming as guest speaker Antoine Babinet who will speak on “Merger control and gatekeepers notification processes: similarities and differences“.
Antoine is a member of the newly created Directorate J in DG Competition which deals with digital platforms and in particular with the implementation of the Digital Markets Act. As a European Commission official, he previously worked in the area of merger control in the digital sector (DG COMP’s unit C5). Before joining the European Commission, Antoine Babinet worked as a competition lawyer in an international law firm and as a case handler in the French competition authority. Antoine Babinet is a lecturer in competition law at SciencesPo Paris.
